It also helps me to learn HTML and CSS along the way !

If I have enough space on this website , or even able to code it , I would perhaps try to add more stuff , maybe small games or whatever that can be fun for your experience !

Hello ! My name is Yanis.
I'm a 19 year old cartoonist and animator who's been drawing all his life.

Around 2019 , I've started to make my own cartoons , comics and characters !
Mainly animals.

This style go by many names ;
"Funny animals" , "anthropormorphic creatures" , "humanoid animals" , but the most modern and familiar term you might know is "Furries".

The reason why is because I can't draw humans for the life of me !
Animals are just far easier to draw...

My main goal for now is being able to draw and complete 3 specific stories i've been developping over the years.
If I can acheive this goal , my life would be complete.

Q. What do you use to draw ?
A. For traditional :
White paper with 120g and smooth surface.
Uni Pin Fine Line Brush.
GraphIt Alcohol Markers.

For digital :
Samsung Tab S6 Lite.
DELL Windows Laptop.
Medibang Paint on PC and Android.
Macromedia Flash 8 for animation.

Q. What inspires you ?
A. Any creations that strikes something in me.
Sometimes it can just be comics I find on thrift stores , or other art by people online !
Overall I like any art I can come across !

Q. How long does it take you to draw ?
A. Usually it takes 1 to 3 days for a full illustration.
If it's about comics , I can do 10 to 15 monochrome inked pages.

It depends on the mood honestly...

Q. Do you have a routine ?
A. 10AM : Sketching and concept art , overall brainstorming ideas.
1PM : Inking pages of my comic.
3PM : Scanning/cleaning and final touches to the pages.
5/6PM : Illustration work.
7PM : Chilling/sleeping.

Q. What's the favorite thing you made ?
A. Actually it's kinda everything on the moment.
I guess I'm proud of some of my OC's designs !

My favorite thing for now is Doggo Doggy Brothers (The comic i'm making) !

I've struggled to write these characters and story due to my mental state at the time , but my dear friend PZK's advice to make it simple was incredibly helpful.
I really don't know what i'd do without , seriously !

It depends , but i like many things :

Outsider art is one thing I love , there's a raw honesty to it.
Documentaries about art or comic making , motivates me to draw.
Long videos essays , that stuff is awesome.
And music. That shit is awesome !

I'm also alot into strange and obscure bootleg games from the 80s to 90s !
That stuff is interesting to me I guess.
